Vigo is in the autonomous region of Galicia, and looks out onto the Atlantic Ocean. In June, Pesavento had the pleasure of opening its first jewellery store in this fascinating city. From 3 June, fine Italian design and craftsmanship has also been on show in Vigo, in the form of Pesavento jewellery: a delight to the heart of every woman. Establishing this presence in Spain is a dream come true, and is thanks to the vision and foresight of Marino Pesavento, owner and production manager, Chiara Carli, owner and creative director and Juan Comesaña, international sales director.

“Pesavento and its jewellery are not new to this market. The quality of our products is known to jewellers throughout the country. Opening this first Pesavento boutique in Vigo has certainly increased the strength of the brand and its values.” These are the words of Juan Comesaña, one of the protagonists at the opening ceremony in Vigo.

We asked Juan what attracts Spanish women to Pesavento jewellery: “Spanish women are very independent, versatile and feminine. That is why Pesavento jewellery is so popular here. The purchase of a necklace or bracelet is initially influenced by its beauty, the aesthetic impact of the piece, but later it’s a matter of pure love. You can’t do without it. Pesavento represents character and identity, both in Vigo and throughout Spain.

The spirit of Pesavento crosses the boundaries of cities and states, but still remains unique and intact. In June, Pesavento style and passion was in the air in Vigo, both inside and outside the store. Like Juan, Aldy also witnessed our amazing opening. “Spain is ‘caliente’ – its people live life to the full, together with all its emotions. This is what I see in Pesavento: a brand that aims to make an impression and to excite.” Excitement was certainly in the air: from all the thrills of the Pesavento Cup around the Island of Cies , to the set-up and flashing cameras capturing the magic of Pesavento creations, and then the photo shoot for Galicia de Moda. But how did the celebrations continue after sunset? “After a day spent in the store handling public relations with local authorities and journalists, we all enjoyed the final touch with a dinner, after-party and DJ set.”

A part of Italy has come to Vigo, and will continue to shine on those women from Spain and from all over the world who love Pesavento.
