A day dedicated to learning about how the magic takes place, where Pesavento jewels move on from the technical study to their pure making. The exact moment when precious metals – gold and silver – lead to the creation of Pesavento necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings.

“When I walked into the Pesavento workshop, I grasped how much this company bases itself on men and women, craftsmen who have been working here for over 20 years and who welcome you with a sincere smile. They are the ones to shape, with their artistry, the jewels that hundreds of thousands of other women around the world wear.” This is the first thing that Aldy said to us after touring our company in Vicenza.

Shaped by the hands of impassioned craftsmen: these are Pesavento jewels

“There are many women who are Pesavento family members, from Chiara Carli, the creative and managerial soul, and the women on the team considered not only craftswomen, but women who love to wear the jewels – and it is precisely for this reason that they know it is necessary to combine comfort with elegance – ending with the sales force led by Manuela Carli. Besides the sales force and craftsmen, there are the offices and customer care that form a tight-knit and strong team that makes Pesavento a solid and well-integrated company,” concluded Aldy.

In our workshops, what are to become Pesavento jewels are first of all a raw material that by being exposed to heat close to 1000 degrees Celsius, which allows the shapes and lines of each jewel to be formed. They are entirely hand-made, meaning that they are unique and one is never identical to another.

“Matching colours is an art that begins with the preparation of gold and silver and other materials, to then undergo soldering, sanding and various finishing procedures,” Aldy said. The climax of this hand-crafted process, comparable to a tailor-made dress, ends with polishing, washing and drying.

The details that express all of the Pesavento characteristics are imprinted on the jewel as a final touch. During soldering, the final detail is provided by the gems or by our Polvere di Sogni. We instead use laser processing to solder and engrave the Pesavento logo.

“This day that I spent with Chiara and the team that makes Pesavento a special company made me understand even more that wearing a Pesavento jewel is precious, in terms of both the materials from which it is made and of the history of the team that works in this company. Loving one’s work is being Pesavento. Pesavento is a precious emotion.”
