ALESSANDRA FARINON,
a bold and spirited female entrepreneur, grew up in the most important marble district in the region of Veneto and has taken over the reins of the family business DecorMarmi (www.decormarmi.com), together with her siblings Gabriella and Marco. The photo-shoot of the jewels in the Summer 2020 collection took place at the premises of Kreoo (www.kreoo.com), with whom DecorMarmi is working as part of a project focusing on design and functionality.
“With Kreoo, we are developing luxury products with an emphasis on design. We create dreams with the benefit of 60 years in the field. We had hoped to attend the Salone del Mobile di Milano, but due to the health emergency the event could only be held online. However, we are not giving up: for the sector still continues to evolve and offer new opportunities. This period has in fact given us the chance for improvement”.
Judging by the tone of her voice and the gleam in her eyes, Alessandra clearly loves her work. “You can only make a masterpiece out of marble if you have the passion to do so”, she said.
And women are especially qualified in this regard: “Women have particular and exceptional sensitivity. They are capable of doing anything, even creating dreams and romance out of physical material”, she said.

IT IS THIS BELIEF THAT BRINGS KREOO AND PESAVENTO TOGETHER:
“Knowing how to create design and emotion out of something highly physical is by no means easy. This applies as much to marble as to jewellery: these two worlds are similar in that both are capable of stirring the emotions”.

VISIONARY WOMEN
that have inspired her: “Chiara Carli is very close to my own heart since I share her mission and the enthusiasm she instils in others. Pesavento jewellery (https://www.pesavento.com/collezioni-pesavento) embodies her vision: it combines strength and emotion, appealing to women and representing both their femininity and their modernity”.
Women today, according to Alessandra Farinon, are “determined, have a precise vision and are driven by things that come naturally to them: speed, intuition and romance”.
How about femininity? There is no doubt in Alessandra’s mind: “For me, together with allure and stylishness, femininity is one of the three keys of daily life, in both the professional and the private spheres”.
And what do women need to succeed? “Emotion, passion and femininity!”.
