To mark the occasion of Mother\u2019s day, we at Pesavento chose to tell you the story of Haiyan Fu, a girl who became mother at a very young age, and together with her partner Luciano started a project: the #digitalmodernfamily. A blog (not only) that narrates with a unique style the everyday life of a family linked to the fashion world!<\/p>\n

This is being a mother: believing in something and decisively carrying it forward, with trust and love. This is what Haiyan has done and keeps on doing with her family, whom we are about to get to know better through this interview.<\/p>\n

Haiyan is a young, creative and multitasking mom; she doesn\u2019t feel too apprehensive, and it\u2019s important to her that Chloe, (her daughter) \u201cdiscover the world, getting dirty, having fun and skinning her knees, without too many tears\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>

The mother is always the mother, you know…<\/strong> And if for Haiyan \u201cit is a major touchstone\u201d<\/em> for Luciano \u201cmother means home with a 360\u00b0 spectrum”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

But how is it working and living together? What is the secret to having a balance between family and work?<\/p>\n

“Next question? We were always good at not mixing family problems with work, and now that work is our family we have learned to live it better. As all families do, we also have our character clashes, but many travel experiences together, taught us to live and enjoy the beauty of our family”.<\/em><\/p>\n

Their work is challenging and always different, but not always simple…. what is the funniest thing for them?<\/p>\n

The most important thing is to be able to live our work all together, having the freedom to decide what to do and how to do it. Creating content by playing and joking with Chloe is definitely the most fun part.<\/em><\/p>\n

#digitalmodernfamily is the concrete example of a society which is becoming more multicultural. A true melting pot. But how would their parents react to the choice of making their family public?<\/p>\n

At the beginning, it wasn\u2019t easy to explain to our families what we do. First of all because they don\u2019t use social networks. But the amazing results, both in our careers\u00a0 and through media helped us to describe better our working reality and especially the fact of being so visible.<\/em><\/p>\n

Chloe, the little girl is the fruit of their love and also the encounter of two cultures.<\/p>\n

For Haiyan it is essential that her daughter learn the Chinese language and its culture. \u201cWe decided to enrol her to a school, that\u00a0 also her cousins attend, and now we\u2019re studying remotely with online classes. At home I always try to speak Chinese with her\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

On the Instagram profile #digitalmoodernfamily we saw beautiful shots of their travels, but what has impressed us is their style and love for fashion.<\/p>\n

And the jewels?<\/p>\n

Of course cannot be missed. And if Luciano loves the most flashy creations: necklaces, bracelets and rings, \u201cI use them on all occasions, and sometimes I choose the most suitable for the outfit\u201d, Haiyan is very fond of jewelry and \u201c if I find one I like I use it often, even for a long time. I don\u2019t look at how to match them because it\u2019s often more a personal pleasure that I feel for that particular jewel\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

Their favorites?<\/p>\n

For Haiyan \u201calways and without any doubts necklaces\u201d<\/em> while for Luciano \u201ca ring with the head of Lion and a black zircon in the mouth\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Looking at their Instagram profile you immerse yourself in a world where sweetness mixes with fun, where irony gives way to femininity.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause to me femininity is something that you radiate: it could be through a glance, a walk or in the way you speak or drink, femininity could be express everywhere\u201d.
