A journey into the heart of beauty, combining nature, delight, luxury and design: we went on a tour of some of the most iconic places in Campania, with their amazing views and visionary jewellers.<\/em><\/h2>\n

Our holiday included the stunning Campania coastline between Amalfi and Sorrento, with clear seas, breathtaking views and the aroma of local delicacies.
\nWe started our tour by visiting some major jewellers in Naples, Sorrento, Positano and Salerno: places where the sea meets Italian style and beauty, and where the contemporary design of Pesavento jewellery combines with the warmth of the Campania people to produce a blend of light and luxury. It\u2019s a small contribution towards restarting our sector, and indeed Italy in general; for our country is a constant source of inspiration with all the beauty and creativity to be found in every historic town or village.<\/p>\n

Our tour started in immortal Naples, with a visit to Celeste and Lisa, owners of Gentile Pi\u00f9 Gioielli<\/strong>:
\n\u201cWe are very attached to our land, and its beauty and warmth expresses this love for our roots. We feel pride in being Neapolitan, wherever we are; this is a city full of contradictions but the sun, the sea and the scenery with its many changing colours make it unique in all the world<\/strong><\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>

Celeste Gentile<\/u> is also adamant about the local food and wine: \u201cPizzas<\/em><\/strong> are a must if you come to Campania, but there are also many traditional dishes cooked in a simple way to enhance their flavour. A unique picture is provided by Marina Nappa<\/u>, owner of Gioielleria Nappa<\/strong> in the heart of the city: \u201cThe best thing about Naples is its contrasts<\/strong>; ranging from the narrow alleyways with hanging clothes and the fish and fruit stalls of the Spanish Quarters to the wonders of a walk in Via Caracciolo, and from the dominance of nature with the volcano<\/strong> and the sea<\/strong>, to the city\u2019s folklore<\/strong>, culture<\/strong> and luxury<\/strong><\/em>.\u201d
\nThis is a beautiful and forever lively city, where you can eat wonderful specialities such as \u201cspaghetti with clams<\/em><\/strong> – a real delight. It\u2019s the same with Pesavento jewellery, with its wonderful attention to detail, sophisticated design and minimal forms<\/strong>. But what about the enchanting town of Positano, where Pesavento creations are paraded on one of the world\u2019s most famous beaches? Stefania Gentile<\/u> of Gentile Positano<\/strong> described it for us:
\n\u201cA cluster of white and painted houses perched on a cliff, lemon groves reflected in a crystal-clear sea that was once the home of mermaids. Positano is a centre of art<\/strong> and culture<\/strong>, fashion<\/strong>, hospitality<\/strong> and important artistic events, such as the Leonide Massine Prize for the Art of Dance.\u201d<\/em>
\nAnd as added value, there are delightful dishes<\/strong> using simple, fresh ingredients. Stefania gave us her tips: \u201cYou can\u2019t leave here without trying our roasted fiordilatte on a lemon leaf, or our squid with potatoes<\/em>.\u201d

We moved on to the enchanting town of Salerno, home to the Chicca Collezioni<\/strong> showroom (Piazza Sedile di Porta Nova<\/strong>): a place to find stylish high-end jewellery, and expert advice from owner Chicca<\/u>: \u201cSalerno is like a living-room by the sea, with a charming old centre full of surprising places, including the crypt below the Duomo, the garden of Minerva, the church of San Giorgio and the murals of Fornelle. We have a lively, scenic promenade where you can sample excellent parmigiana di melanzane (aubergine with cheese sauce), spaghetti con la colatura di alici (anchovy spaghetti) and Battipaglia mozzarella. And there\u2019s also our local dessert – a registered trademark – a delicious cake called \u2018scazzetta\u2019<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0And how would she describe Pesavento jewellery? \u201cI regard it as the ideal complement for dynamic, stylish women of all ages<\/em>.\u201d And when you\u2019re visiting Amalfi and Ravello, you need to take the opportunity to look at their colourful handmade ceramics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Finally, we stopped off in magical Sorrento, with its scent of orange blossom and local specialities such as lemon risotto. It is also home to the Mario Palumbo Gioielli<\/strong>. Its owner, Barbara Palumbo<\/u>, said: \u201cThanks to its excellent position, the town has developed as a world-famous tourist centre and seaside resort. People come here to enjoy its natural beauty<\/strong> and artistic treasures<\/strong>, and also for its location – we are within easy reach of Capri, Pompeii and Herculaneum<\/em>.\u201d The Pesavento collections are prominently on display in the shop: \u201cThese are unique<\/strong> pieces<\/strong>, handmade in Italy and with contemporary, stylish design. We love them because they always help accentuate the character of the wearer<\/strong>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>
